KOP link up with Latitude Festival

Date Posted: 14 February 2012

There's been a buzz in the news recently around the festival scene.

While we were sad to hear that The Big Chill had been put off for this year, we were quickly cheered up by the news from the Festival Republic team that KOP were being asked to link up with the fantastic Latitude Festival.

Preparations are now well underway for an exciting new fundraising drive which will offer festial goers the chance to complete an environmentally friendly bike ride en route to the festival. They'll get a host of goodies including food and drinks, free massage and shower on arrival and storage for their cycles. Plus a weekend festival ticket too ofcourse!

And the best bit?

KOP will benefit from the moneys raised to take part in the cycle.

We'll be bringing you more details about the brand new 'Tour de Latitude' over the coming weeks and months as indeed with the Latitude team.

Meanwhile you can read over the various media coverage and festival website news at the links below.

If you were involved in Making Tracks or wish you had been, this is a great way of getting involved with a fun activity to raise vital funds for KOP. So dig out your bicycle, dust off your helmet, fluff up your saddle and sign up for 'Tour de Latitude'!
